There are a few things I plan to add to Stock Photo Feeds in the near future:
- Release the Ultimate Free Stock Photo Search Tool extension for Chrome
- Done! – Download The Ultimate Free Stock Photo Search Addon for Chrome
- Add portfolio feeds so you can follow individual microstock contributors when you like that artist’s photos/vectors
- Done! – Append artist=galleryid to request. This may be accompanied by artist_agency=agencygalleryid which override the default artist parameter for a specific agency to support multiple agencies in one request.
- JSON output formation of feed data so developers can use StockPhotoFeeds as a simple image-search API to integrate image-feeds into their own site or tools for their clients
- Done! – Apend format=json to request.
- Feeds for popular images matching a search
- Done! Uses the best-match or relevancy rated search – Append type=engine to request.
Still to be completed:
- Portfolio widgets for artists to promote their work on their blog or website across multiple agencies
- RSS consumption in the Ultimate Free Image Search addon and the more advanced picNiche Microstock Search toolbar so you can get a live preview in your browser when new work is available
- A socially linked ‘Like’ system so you can recommend great images to others.
- RSS Feeds for more microstock and free stock photography sites
There is a lot of exciting tools coming from StockPhotoFeeds soon. Would you like anything else added? Can you suggest an improvement or a way to share this information? Do you have a project which could benefit from StockPhotoFeeds, let me know in the comments 🙂
